Near the Limit of Standard Processes
Fourteen layers push the limits of conventional PCB fabrication. Only a few manufacturers can reliably produce them. Boyastar is one of them. We build 14 Layer PCBs for the most demanding systems-telecom core equipment, radar, and high-end test instrumentation.
Layer count changes the manufacturing equation. Standard lamination cycles are typically sufficient up to ten layers. Beyond that, you need specialized press cycles and careful material selection. Our 14 Layer PCBs use multiple lamination stages. We select prepreg materials with controlled resin flow to fill gaps consistently. We use glass cloth styles that provide stable dimensions during heating. The result is a board with uniform dielectric thickness across all layers.
Testing is more challenging. A 14-layer board has many hidden connections. Opens and shorts between inner layers are not visible to the human eye. We rely on 100% electrical testing-flying probe or fixture-based-to verify every net. We also perform micro-section analysis on sample boards to confirm hole wall quality and layer alignment. Each board is released only after all tests pass. Boyastar has been manufacturing PCBs since 2008. Our factory spans 19,000 square meters. Monthly capacity exceeds 50,000 square meters. IATF 16949 and UL certifications apply.
