Inside the EV Revolution
Electric vehicles are not cars with batteries. They are computers on wheels. A modern EV has over 100 electronic control units, each with a PCB. Boyastar builds New Energy Vehicle PCBs for the most demanding of these-BMS, motor drives, OBC, and DC-DC converters.
Thermal management is the biggest challenge. Under the hood, an EV PCB sees temperatures from -40°C to 150°C. The battery can draw hundreds of amps during acceleration. Our New Energy Vehicle PCBs use high-Tg FR-4 that maintains insulation properties across this range. Copper thickness up to 6 oz handles high currents. We design power traces with wide margins to keep temperature rise below acceptable limits.

Automotive qualification is rigorous. EV PCBs must pass thermal cycling, vibration, humidity, and salt spray tests. Our boards are manufactured under IATF 16949 quality systems. We maintain full traceability from raw material to finished board. Each board is tested to ensure it meets specifications. We have been making PCBs for 18 years and holding IATF 16949 since 2017. Our 19,000-square-meter plant produces over 50,000 square meters monthly. UL certification is also standard.
