Automotive PCBs go where consumer boards cannot. Under-hood temperatures reach 125°C. Vibration is constant. Moisture and salt spray are everywhere. Boyastar builds Automotive PCBs that survive these conditions.
Heat is the number one killer. An engine bay PCB sees temperature swings from -40°C to 125°C every day. This thermal cycling stresses every joint and via. Our Automotive PCBs use high-Tg FR-4 with low thermal expansion. We plate through-holes with extra copper thickness to prevent barrel cracking. Solder mask is selected for high-temperature stability. These details extend the board's life from months to years.
Vibration endurance matters too. Connectors and heavy components can detach under vibration if the board is not robust. We recommend larger pads and additional anchor points for heavy parts. For flexible connections, we support using of high-durability finishes like ENIG and hard gold that resist fretting corrosion. Each Automotive PCB is 100% tested for opens and shorts.
