The first core inspection item for technical PCB boards is appearance and size inspection, mainly used to control the basic process accuracy and surface quality of the board. The inspection covers the overall cleanliness of the board surface, the uniformity of solder mask ink, the condition of the copper surface, and the clarity of the silk screen. The focus is on checking for appearance defects such as exposed copper, oxidation, scratches, solder mask bubbles and peeling, and incomplete wiring. At the same time, strictly check key dimensions such as plate thickness, plate shape, hole diameter, hole spacing, and positioning hole positions, and check the integrity of the solder pads, external tolerances, and slot positions to ensure they are consistent with the drawings. Through comprehensive inspection of appearance and size items, defective panels with structural deviations and process defects can be screened out in advance, ensuring smooth assembly and welding in the future.

Electrical performance testing is the most critical functional testing item for technical PCBs, directly determining whether the circuit board can be powered on and used normally. This project mainly includes three core contents: on/off testing, insulation testing, and withstand voltage testing. Check all circuits for open circuits, short circuits, residual copper bridges, and other circuit problems to ensure the integrity and correctness of signal and current transmission paths; Insulation testing tests the insulation resistance values between circuits and layers to confirm that the insulation medium performance of the board meets the standards; Voltage withstand testing is aimed at high-voltage application boards, testing whether there are hidden dangers such as breakdown, leakage, and arcing in the circuit under rated high voltage environment. The complete set of electrical project testing can comprehensively cover hidden circuit risks, ensuring stable, safe and reliable electrical performance of PCB.

Reliability and precision parameter testing are specialized testing projects for advanced technology PCBs, commonly used for high-precision boards such as multi-layer boards, high-frequency boards, and impedance boards. It mainly includes three key projects: impedance parameter detection, interlayer structure detection, and environmental reliability detection. Impedance detection accurately checks the impedance values of key wiring to ensure matching design requirements and avoid signal loss and distortion; Interlayer detection involves slicing analysis and compression inspection to identify internal process defects such as delamination, voids, and layer deviation in the board; Environmental reliability testing verifies the stability and durability of the board through simulated operating conditions such as high and low temperature cycling, wet heat aging, and vibration tolerance. This part of the testing project has strict standards, which can fully guarantee the long-term quality of high-end PCBs in precision equipment and complex working conditions.
