The conventional and simple structured technical PCB board has a short and efficient design and sampling process, suitable for basic circuit projects such as ordinary control boards, power boards, lighting boards, etc. On the premise of complete schematic data and accurate parameter confirmation, engineers usually only need 1 to 2 working days to complete PCB layout and wiring, rule inspection, and data export. When delivering samples to the factory, single panel and double-sided panels without special processes belong to the standardized quantity product category. The regular production cycle is 1 to 3 working days, and urgent channels can achieve shipment within 24 hours at the fastest. Overall, for ordinary technology PCBs, the entire process from design finalization to obtaining finished product samples is generally controlled within 2 to 4 days, which can quickly meet the basic requirements of project verification and functional debugging.
The design and sampling cycle of multi-layer structures and PCB boards with special processes will be extended according to the difficulty of the process, suitable for high-precision and high reliability technical scenarios. Circuit boards with four or more layers, impedance control, gold-plated thick copper, and window heat dissipation processes require optimization of the stacked structure, grounding layout, and impedance matching during the design phase. The rule review is more rigorous, and the design process takes 2 to 3 working days. The factory has more production processes, more pressing times, and stricter testing standards. The standard sampling cycle for four layer boards is 3 to 5 days, while for six layer and above high-grade boards, it takes 5 to 7 days. If precision processes such as blind buried holes and HDI high-density interconnection are involved, the production process will be further extended, and the overall design sampling cycle is usually maintained at 7 to 10 days to ensure that the electrical performance and structural accuracy of the sample meet the standards.
The complete delivery cycle of functional samples also needs to be comprehensively calculated in conjunction with later debugging and assembly processes. After the production of PCB bare boards is completed, it also includes processes such as component procurement, SMT surface mount welding, functional testing, fault rectification and debugging. Under the condition of complete assembly of conventional components, simple board placement testing can be completed in 1 to 2 days, while complex multi module circuit boards require 3 to 4 days for debugging and optimization. If there are data modifications, parameter adjustments, repeated process confirmations, or component shortages or rework due to poor testing during the design process, the overall cycle will be slightly delayed. Under normal and normal circumstances, it takes about 5 days to deliver the complete sample of ordinary technology PCB, and 10 to 15 days to land the complete set of mid to high end multi-layer precision PCB, which can fully meet the pace of new product development, technical verification, and small-scale trial production.
